The Second World War Causes

Learning objectives
In this lesson, students will gain an understanding of the causes of the Second World War. They will develop an awareness of the annexation of Austria, the Munich Agreement and the annexation of the Sudetenland, and the invasion of Poland in 1939. Students will have the opportunity to achieve this through choosing their own method of learning, from reading, source analysis, research, and video watching options, as well as the chance to engage in extension activities. This lesson includes a self-marking quiz for students to demonstrate their learning.
